I'm a grump. You can imagine why. Bird is teasing me.
This morning though? I'm so easily annoyed that I'm bitching at our local news show. Just talking to it, telling them how stupid they are.
They were all over the Wintery Mix that we would have this morning. Last night, they went as far as to say that we would have about 2 inches of snow this morning. Granted, it would melt before lunchtime, but 2 inches of snow for a couple of hours is better than nothing.
Now, we have a muddy backyard, a very sad Lovely, and nothing but rain at 34 degrees.
And the weather people? Not apologizing. They are just covering their butts with pictures of some snow flurry that happened at 4:00 AM about an hour north of here.
They could just say they were wrong. It would be far less annoying.

yeah I was all psyched at least for a delay so I could sleep past 5. But no, nothing, some ice in the grass and rain on the streets. Sheesh. Damn weather people.

It does seem that the forecasters have been doing a pretty bad job of predicting the weather over the past 5 years. I think they are relying too much on technology doing their job for them.
I've had a much better track record by looking out my kitchen window and taking a guess at what the weather will be like after a glance at the thermometer and the sky. Maybe I should consider switching jobs.

I feel your anger about the snow. That was us the other day...I was so prepared for a snow day that I stayed up late and even hyped my son up for building a snowman. And NOTHING! Can't stand that!
Bird will be here before you know and there will be all new teasing going on! :)

Ah, the final week of pregnancy. Joyful- isn't it?
Stupid weather people. GAH!

We were told a little wintry mix this morning and I went ahead and started to work... and went into a ditch then ran out of the road later into someones driveway. My husband took out an electric pole the night before last on a night that was supposed to be clear...no one mentioned the sleet and ice.

I once saw the courses required for a degree in weather forecasting.
They were comprised of being able to throw darts while blindfolded, then removing the blindfold and reading what your dart had struck.
I'm so not kidding.
